Hello, my name is Harry Montgomery and I've just been PROMOTED.
Finally. I'd been keeping my mouth shut about going for the position for quite some time but I have finally gotten it. You're looking at your new Provisions Master.

This general cook bullshit... I'm supposed to be telling these people what to do, not taking orders. To think, all those years in culinary academies, all that experience... to be back at this level. General cook. Being sous chef gets to one's head, to be honest. I may not be the highest but I can sure as hell do better than this. I love Tahiti, and the Serendipity Pain In My Ass Fantastic and this itinerary is nothing to laugh at but it isn't home. I feel out of sorts, downplayed and generally confused.
I don't have my best friend OR my girlfriend for a month. This is agony.

Waking up and seeing Cádiz was the highlight of my day. I sat outside and watched the sunrise since I get up earlier than the normal person and I drank my coffee in silence as I watched. You'd be surprised to know how many guests are awake at that time, taking strolls together and stealing kisses in the dark because they think no one will see.
I'd almost forgotten how amazing it is to wake up on a cruise. It's extremely relaxing, especially when I know I'm going to end up spending the entire day stuffed inside a hot kitchen with only a couple of breaks before I want to pass out. I can't complain, though. I feel more at home in that kitchen than anywhere else... well, almost anywhere else.
I have GOT to stop being a romantic and get back to my old self. Andrew, let's do something.

People are a hell of a lot nicer on this cruise ship than they are on land. It must be the sea air. Or promiscuity.

I'm not big on introductions, especially since I'd like for people to get to know me through interaction.
I will tell you this, though: the name's Harry Montgomery, I'm 33 in less than a month, I'm the new sous chef on the ship and I call New Zealand home. Anything else you want to know, let's talk.
